We often receive several applications per position, and we ask for your patience during the review process. If you are not contacted for an interview within 4 weeks of your submission, you will likely not have met the selection criteria or it could be that the filling of the position has postponed to a later date. In the latter case, the position will be re-opened in the future where you may reapply.

Once you apply, your CV gets reviewed If you have the right skills and experience you will make the short list and be invited to have an interview with the hiring manager and potentially other relevant members of the team. We pride ourselves in being nimble and our standard assessment process is usually 2-3 weeks. After the interview, if there is a good fit in joining the Company, you may be asked to have a second interview. A decision is usually made within a week after the 2nd interview. Senior positions may involve additional interviews.

I joined NovalGen in May of 2019 during the early days. I was involved in the downstream process development of our flagship product to treat chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, NVG-111. It has been a tremendous pleasure experiencing the successful tech transfer of both our upstream and downstream processes, which ultimately led to the successful cGMP manufacture of our clinical supply. Since then, I have gained a wealth of experience in new technologies, new ways of thinking and leadership. Joining NovalGen early has given me the chance to progress and develop as a scientist. I joined NovalGen in September 2019 to lead the Discovery team. I wanted to work for a small start-up company early in its growth phase, and impressively NovalGen had put in place the capabilities to take a molecule from concept to clinic. This underpins why we have moved so rapidly to the clinic following the founding of the company.
